DESCRIPTION:On Saturday, June 17th in honor of Juneteenth, Women Grow and Emmanuel Baptist Church (EBC) are excited to announce its annual “The Business of Cannabis Summit”. This FREE event will from 10am to 3pm inviting the community to learn about opportunities for the New York State medical cannabis and adult-use cannabis programs. For the first time since 2019, we are returning with an in-person event and have tapped the New York State Office of Cannabis Management (Office of Cannabis Management | Office of Cannabis Management (ny.gov)) to lead the conversations.\n\nOver the years our event has brought thousands of participants in-person or virtually to learn directly from experts in the industry. Ranging from topics on starting a business in cannabis to learning what it means to become a medical cannabis patient. This year we will focus on New York State’s legalized cannabis program. Unfortunately, there is a lot of misinformation circulating in the public and we hope these talks will help set the record straight.
