The vertically integrated cannabis specialist has been able to control costs and will offer consumers Pura Vida products in the mid-$30 range

Heritage Cannabis recently bought Pura Vida, an award-winning legacy cannabis brand recognized for superior tinctures, concentrates and vape cartridge products

Heritage Cannabis Holdings Corp (CSE:CANN) (CNSX:CANN.CN) (OTC:HERTF) has announced that it will launch its Daybreak and Nightfall full spectrum THC tinctures under the Pura Vida brand in the British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba adult-use cannabis markets in July, with additional provincial markets expected to follow.

The cannabis specialist recently bought Pura Vida, an award-winning legacy cannabis brand recognized for superior tinctures, concentrates and vape cartridge products. Pura Vida’s Daybreak and Nightfall tinctures are extracted from high quality, hand-selected cannabis flower.

The company said the “premium quality” products are created using only the highest-grade cannabis materials suspended in “organic medium-chain triglyceride (MCT) oil” to ensure a positive user experience.

As a vertically integrated cannabis company, Heritage has designed its internal processes to take the product from manufacturing directly to consumer channels, decreasing traditional distribution costs. As a result, the company said the tinctures will be offered at a “strategically competitive price in the mid-$30 range for a 30 ml glass bottle and dropper.”

Chris Pearson, vice president of sales and marketing at Heritage noted that the launch of Pura Vida Daybreak and Nightfall THC tinctures coincides with the launch of the brand’s full spectrum Sativa, Indica & Hybrid Honey oil vape cartridges in the same markets in July.

“Consumers have been eagerly awaiting the launch of these products into the Canadian adult-use market as the products have an award-winning history and have been recognized for the highest quality,” he added in a statement.

Heritage’s extraction subsidiary, Purefarma Solutions has a reputation for channeling a proprietary extraction process to carefully extract oils from hand-selected cannabis flower to produce premium quality cannabis products.

Heritage Cannabis CEO Clint Sharples said: “This product rollout signifies the beginning of the next phase of Heritage’s development. Our strategy is to price the products competitively, while not jeopardizing quality, and we believe they will be well received by consumers as these products have historically been in high demand."

On June 4, Heritage announced that it had acquired the Pura Vida brand and trademark for C$75,000, to be satisfied by the issue of 500,000 shares in the company at a value of C$0.15 each.

The company said Pura Vida will be marketed primarily as its recreational offering and will complement the launch of its Purefarma medicinal and recreational brand.

Heritage owns two Health Canada approved licensed producers, Voyage Cannabis and CannaCure, as well as two other subsidiaries, Purefarma, which provides extraction services, and a Medical Services Division which is focused on cannabis-based medical solutions.
