Helix Technologies says Sprout and Helix BioTrack now integrated, benefitting dispensaries nationwide

The combined platform will automatically update customer data and enhance revenue opportunities for participating dispensaries

Helix's products reach over 2,000 customer locations in 38 states and 8 countries while having processed over $20 billion in cannabis sales

Inc () said Friday that its software and cannabis business solution subsidiary BioTrack and Sprout, a leading cannabis marketing platform, have integrated their platforms to automatically update customer data and enhance revenue opportunities for participating dispensaries.

Helix’s subsidiary BioTrack is a provider of seed-to-sale tracking and dispensary point-of-sale software to the cannabis industry. On the other hand, Sprout is a leading customer relationship management system (CRM) and marketing software platform used by dispensaries across 28 US states, Canada and Puerto Rico.

In a statement, the Denver-based company said the integration connects the BioTrack platform to Sprout's CRM system, and is being channeled across “multiple dispensaries across multiple states.”

"As one of our premier integration partners, we are excited to get this integration completed as it was one of the top requests of our customer base as a way to further enhance their Sprout experience," Sprout CEO Jaret Christopher said in a statement.

The integration will automatically sync the consumer data, transactional data and other attributes automatically from BioTrack into Sprout provided that the consumer has given consent and approval to receive marketing material.

With compliance being of utmost importance, the BioTrack user interface includes a 'text marketing opt-in' designation that will ensure that only those that have agreed to receive messages will be included in any sync of the two systems.

The Sprout boss said the pandemic has altered consumer behavior and dispensaries are looking for technology that can provide a touchless or contact-free experience.

“Our BioTrack integration solves this problem while making it easy for consumers to opt into marketing campaigns without needing to touch a digital screen or keypad,” Christopher added.

Meanwhile, Helix BioTrack COO Moe Afaneh said the industry is “evolving” and providing integrated and “streamlined Sprout services that are critical to optimizing efficiency” will offer a “competitive advantage” to dispensaries.

“This is another tool to help our customer base grow their business in a COVID-19 landscape," Afaneh added.

With the Sprout and BioTrack integration, dispensaries can send targeted text messages and email marketing campaigns based on consumer preferences, demographics, as well as transactional purchases that have been made in the past.

Helix’s subsidiary BioTrack, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, provides seed-to-sale tracking and dispensary point-of-sale software to the cannabis industry. BioTrackTHC’s product suite increases transparency by monitoring key data points during cultivation, harvest, extraction, packaging, transport, and dispensing.

Helix Technologies' products reach over 2,000 customer locations in 38 states and 8 countries and have processed over $20 billion in cannabis sales.
